Management
Founder & CEO: Brian Weakliam, FCCA, LIB
Brian had a successful career as a financial analyst specialising in customer
and product profitability with a major international bank. From 1996 to 2007
Brian ran Banking Solutions, a Dublin-based consulting company, using his technical banking expertise and
knowledge of banking systems to build scientific modelling tools for
business customers of banks.
Chairman: Mark Moran, BEng, MBA
As chairman of Bankhawk, Mark oversees strategic planning and business
development. He holds a degree in chemical engineering and an MBA. Mark has
extensive industry experience having operated at senior management level in
various international companies.
COO: Joe Weakliam, BSc, PhD
Joe is Chief Operations Officer with Bankhawk. He completed both a BSc and
PhD in Computer Science and Informatics and has considerable banking experience
having worked with a major international bank for seven years.
CTO: Xin Zuo, BSc, MSc, PhD
Xin is Chief Technical Officer with Bankhawk. He holds a BSc degree, masters
degree and PhD in Computer Science and Informatics. Xin has a wealth of expertise
in many different areas of IT, including more than twelve years software development
experience.
Tom Conlon, BComm, MSc
Tom has had a long career with a major international bank, ranging from research
through to strategy, costing and payments systems. Tom was head of European & Retail
Strategy at IPSO and chairman of Carapay, an emerging payments institution.
Andy Daly, BComm, MBS
Andy had a successful career as a corporate banker before focusing on treasury
risk management. Having spent over eight years working with corporate and institutional
clients, Andy has developed expertise in numerous treasury management disciplines.
Financial Analysts
Lisa Finn, BSc
Lisa Finn completed a BSc degree obtaining first class honours in Financial &
Actuarial Mathematics. Lisa has developed mathematical skills to model and value
cash flows along with statistical techniques of relevance to financial services.
David Holt, BBS, MSc
David holds a BBS degree and an MSc in Finance and Capital Markets. He has
developed strong investment research and financial modelling skills while
working as a market research analyst on an equity index futures trading floor.
Developers
Martin McCool, BSc, MSc
Martin holds first class degrees in Applied Computing (BSc Honours)
and Interactive Digital Media (MSc). He has over seven years software
engineering experience and has developed bespoke software for numerous
Irish companies.
Judith Thomson, BSc
Judith holds a first class honours degree in Software Development,
specialising in Commercial Computing. She has more than five years
experience in software development, as well as being proficient in
diverse areas of IT.
